ELIZABETH, NJ – March 22, 2017 – East Coast Warehouse & Distribution, a leading temperature-controlled logistics provider to the food and beverage industry, today announced that U.S. Customs & Border Protection has extended its Centralized Examination Station (CES) contract for another five years via its East Coast CES business. With its 14.5-acre exam and post-exam container service yard, East Coast Warehouse will continue to serve as the only comprehensive CES in New Jersey.
Located at 1140 Polaris Street, East Coast Warehouse is designated by CBP to perform the following exams via its East Coast CES business:
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Inspections
- U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agriculture Quarantine Inspections (AQI) and Tailgate Exams
- NII and Contraband Enforcement Team (A-TCET)
- Manifest Exam Team (MET)/Trade Compliance Exams
