Chief Executive Officer
Jamie Overley has been Chief Executive Officer since December of 2010. Jamie joined East Coast in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer.
Jamie has more than 20 years of logistics experience in key leadership roles, and has raised, restructured or refinanced more than $1.1 billion in capital throughout his career. Prior to joining East Coast Warehouse, he was a Partner at Grisanti, Galef and Goldress, where he led several successful corporate turnarounds.
Jamie has held key executive positions in logistics including Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer for large transportation providers ranging in size from $300 million to $400 million. As a result of this work, he is a two-time winner of the Large Corporation Turnaround of the Year Award from the Atlanta Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. Jamie is a member of the Seton Hall University Stillman School of Business Customer Experience Certificate Program Advisory board, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Maritime Association of the Port of NY/NJ and the New Jersey Motor Truck Association. Additionally, he is a member of the NY/NJ Freight Forwarders Association, Bi-State Motor Trucking Association, Traffic Club of New York, and the Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce.
Jamie began his career at KPMG, serving public and private companies in the banking, savings and loan, mortgage banking and real estate sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, is a two-time Ironman Triathlon finisher and has completed more than 20 half Ironman Triathlons.
Chief Operating Officer
Dan Horgan joined East Coast Warehouse in 2009 as the Vice President of Operations. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in December 2013.
Prior to joining East Coast Warehouse, Dan worked for Airborne Express (now DHL), where he held senior leadership roles. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Dan began his career as a Naval Aviator and Patrol Plane Mission commander in the United States Navy. He ended his active duty service as the Assistant Air Operations Officer USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71.
Dan is currently co-chairman of the National Confectioner’s Logistics Council.
Chief Financial Officer
David Harris joined East Coast Warehouse in 2008 as Controller, and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in December 2010.
Prior to joining the company, David served as the Director of Business Analysis and Process Improvement with Con-way Truckload (formerly Contract Freighters, Inc.). He also held leadership positions within Trism, Inc., a specialized truckload company.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Chief Information Officer
Ted Nelson joined East Coast Warehouse in 2019 as Chief Information Officer. A high-performance, transformational leader, Ted brings more than 20 years of technology experience to both ECW and its executive team.
Ted joined East Coast Warehouse from Alba Wine & Spirits in Edison, NJ, where he served as the Vice President of Information Technology. He has proven experience driving efficiencies throughout the supply chain process for industry-leading organizations such as NFI Industries, Taylored Services and Ozburn-Hessey (Geodis). Ted has a substantiated history of developing and executing enterprise-wide processes and procedures that increase productivity, quality and consistency by removing redundancies – and a strong background in leading large technology initiatives and projects, from design phase through implementation.
Ted has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
Chief Commercial Officer
Kevin Daly joined East Coast Warehouse as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020. A resourceful, growth-focused executive, Kevin brings more than 30 years of sales and operational experience in the logistics industry to both East Coast Warehouse and its executive team.
Kevin joined East Coast Warehouse from Seafrigo, USA, where he served as Vice President, devising and executing data-driven strategies for sales and pricing to meet and exceed organizational goals. In addition to his role at Seafrigo, he has worked for companies such as Preferred Freezer Services and DHL Express, where he supervised and built cross-functional, high-performance teams of logistics professionals, and implemented focused brand campaigns across the organizations.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Management and Labor Relations from Niagara University.
Senior Vice President of Transportation
Ed Cole joined East Coast Warehouse and Safeway Trucking in 2009, and held the position of Director and Vice President of Transportation prior to his most recent promotion to Senior Vice President of Transportation in 2019.
Prior to his tenure with East Coast Warehouse, Ed held a series of management positions at DHL, most recently as Regional Director of Operations, in which he managed the company’s Manhattan region. Ed joined DHL after completing his service as an Infantry Captain in the United States Army.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was a member of the Army Football Team, which won several Bowl Championships during his tenure.
Vice President, Corporate Controller & Treasurer
Theresa Jacobs joined East Coast Warehouse in 2011 as Director of Finance, and was promoted to Corporate Controller in 2014.
Prior to joining the company, Theresa served as Manager of Financial Analysis with Centennial Communications, a regional telecom provider (now AT&T). She also held tenure at International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc., an international food and fragrance manufacturer headquartered in New York City, where she served in various accounting roles with increasing responsibility before leaving as their Manager of Treasury Operations.
Theresa holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree and an MBA from Monmouth University.
Vice President of Customer Service & Logistics Operations
Carmen Tejeda joined East Coast Warehouse in 2000 as part of the customer service representative team. She was promoted to Customer Service Manager in 2010, and Director of Customer Service Experience in 2013.
Carmen has more than 20 years of customer service experience, and has spent her career helping build a team of talented men and women who work diligently to please each and every one of East Coast Warehouse’s customers.
Vice President of National Accounts
Rich Coppola joined the East Coast Warehouse team in January 2013 as the Senior Director of Sales. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in April 2013.
Prior to joining East Coast Warehouse, Rich served in a number of senior sales leadership roles with several blue chip companies including ADP, U.S. Surgical, Deutsche Post DHL (USA) and Avis Budget Group.
Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rider University and was the recipient of an Outstanding Leadership Award for his graduating class.
